Liberty University Residential Calendar

Liberty University has many important dates that occur each semester. To help you stay on top of your busy schedule we have provided an easy-to-follow list. Whether you are in a Spring or Fall session, you can find your “can’t miss” dates and deadlines here.

Important Dates and Deadlines

Fall 2024

• January 2 – Financial Check-In (FCI) Opens for new students
• April 10 – Registration opens for select New Students (must have paid the Enrollment Deposit before March 1 and have completed FCI and assessments before April 2)
• April 17 – Registration opens for all other New Students and all New Graduate Students
• July 14 – Book Vouchers and Flames Cash available at LU Bookstore
• July 31 – New Student Book Dollars available at LU Bookstore
• August 9 – FCI deadline for new students ($150 late fee applied on Aug. 10)
• August 14 – Dorms and Dining open
• August 19 – Classes begin

Summer 2024

• February 1 – Registration and Financial Check In (FCI) opens
• April 4 – Book Vouchers available at Barnes & Noble
• May 6 – FCI Deadline for ABJ terms for summer
• May 12 – Summer housing begins
• May 13 – Summer semester begins
• July 5 – Book Vouchers/Book Dollars Expire
• August 16 – All summer classes end

Spring 2025

• September 11 – Spring 2025 students, once accepted, can access their math and English assessments in Canvas
• October 1 – Financial Check In (FCI) opens for all new students
• November 6 – Registration opens for new undergraduate students (must have paid Enrollment Deposit before Oct. 1 and have completed FCI and assessments prior to Nov. 1)
• November 13 – Registration opens for all other new undergraduate students and all new graduate students
• December 1 – Book Vouchers available at Barnes & Noble
• December 18 – New student Book Dollars available at Barnes & Noble
• January 3 – FCI Deadline for new students at 11:59 PM ($150 late fee applied on Jan. 6)
• January 9 – Residence halls open – new students (8:00 AM)
• January 13 – Spring semester begins
• January 17 – Last day to add or drop a class until 4:00 PM
• February 28 – Book Vouchers/Book Dollars Expire
